About Carmen

CarmenMs. Cubillo's style is both empathic and active as she guides you to identify and improve unhelpful patterns, with a vision of working with and empowering couples to reach and maintain the changes they want.  In successful relationships couples often  resonate with each other.  Being attune to your partner creates trusting bonds.

Often in couples therapy the first step is being able to know your own feelings, thoughts and behaviors at multiple levels, while also being able to understand, empathize with and reflect your partner’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a way that makes sense to both of you.

This ability will in turn  begin to heal the emotional wounds and blocks that might continue to keep your relationship in stuck and/or disconnected patterns.  Increased attunement with each other often increases a couple’s feelings of connectedness, unity and feelings of over all marital satisfaction.
